WILLIAMS

Elders are appointed by Elder team and may serve with their wives, however according to scripture (and the New Testament model) men were appointed as Elders to oversee. Wives will serve in a role of support, perception, input and prayer and do not participate in voting on final decisions that effect the church.

Meet the Team

Harley serves as our Children’s Pastor. She answered God’s call to vocational ministry by obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministries with a minor in Biblical Studies from Biola University in 2013. Her current role allows her to utilize her gifts and talents by partnering with parents and caregivers in the spiritual formation of their children.

Harley is passionate about helping kids and families understand and know God’s Word and how it applies in everyday life situations.

Harley and her husband, Jackson, will celebrate ten years of marriage this June. They have been blessed with three children, Grayson (6), Beckett (4), and Laney (2).

Harley cherishes her time with her children and husband. A few things they love to do during family time are bake, have movie nights, and go to the beach.

Harley Adams

CHILDREN’S PASTOR

Jake is our Associate Pastor. He grew up in a Christian household and professed faith as a young child, but didn’t understand the depth of being in union with Christ until his senior year of high school.

Jake and his wife, Jess, met at Biola University where they both earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Ministries. They have been married for 3 years and absolutely LOVE living by the beach. You can catch them grabbing a coffee and walking the beach trails with their Aussie puppy, Finn.

Jake has a passion for equipping others to know how deeply loved they are in Christ. He recently earned a Master’s Degree in Christian Apologetics from Talbot School of Theology. He longs to see others be completely transformed by the Gospel. He desires to see our church community to be one that herald’s the good news of Christ to all.

Mary Williams

OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Dorian Johnson

YOUTH DIRECTOR

Rob & Mary, along with their children, Lauren, Emily & Michael, started attending Cornerstone in 2005. Their two older daughters started coming to Cornerstone’s Youth Group a couple years earlier where many of their homeschooled friends attended. Because of the many relationships built through homeschooling, the family started attending here when the need arose to find a new church. They’ve been blessed with many lifelong friendships since!

Mary started serving in the sound booth doing slide projection within the first year, which she has continued doing to this day. When her son started high school, Mary was in a position for part time work just as the Office Administrator position opened up in 2013. She loves being able to help people get the information needed to become involved in our Church.
